Information Systems Department (BI group) - is one of four research and development groups in the Institute of Mathematical Machines Basic activity of the group concentrates on systems designing, development and implementation. The group provides also advisory services in scope of IT solutions and conducts trainings on e-learning technology and Internet programming techniques. Moreover, it conducts dissemination of researches and projects results, in public available
scientific publications, as well as on
conferences and seminaries, which popularize new information technologies.
The BI group consists of over dozen experienced specialists, directed by Ph.D. Jolanta Brzostek-Pawłowska. Having conducted computer science courses for many years, it operates close to the user and has a reliable source of information on system users’ needs and feedback info from the market. The group consistently cooperates with international institutions have an access to the current knowledge on the newest IT solutions.
Information Systems Department offers some
self-made software products as well as advisory, implementation and training services:

TeleEdu
– innovative technology supporting remote education, was elaborated within the framework of
Leonardo da Vinci
EU programme (2002-2003). During the project, the Information Systems Department has elaborated
EWS SDK e-Learning Suite, currently further developed as
TeleEdu eLearning Suite
– a set of tools for creating and conducting electronic trainings and tests.
TeleEdu technology was later enriched with
TeleEdu LMS – a system for education processes management. The system is now used in our current
projects: AdeLe, Innowator, Renowator.

DokMistrz– application for documents managements in offices.

advisory and trainings
– we offer advisory and trainings (lectures, exercises, workshops) in scope of Internet programming technologies (ASP, ASP.NET, C# and others), and we train managers from companies and organizations in scope of computer solutions application in business.
